This three-color repeat screen printed yardage was made during the Apprentice Training Program at the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia. The array and gradients of colors were created with two intersecting split-fountains. All of the blind contours are of people in my family. The abstract quality of the portraits conveys how we can never quite remember what a loved one looks like. The photographs are of family members who I never got to meet, but who I believe still have a significant impact on my life.
